The majority of Serwall Outdoor Furniture is built using poly lumber. One of the Serwall product lines is using high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and the other is using hign-impact polystyrene (HIPS), both are highly recyclable plastic material. Learn more about our materials.

HIPS stands for Hign-Impact Polystyrene, also known as PS (Polystyrene), an fully recyclable material with minimal loss of properties that offers high impact strength, and stiffness. Learn more about HIPS.

HDPE stands for High-Density Polyethylene, which is an exceptionally durable plastic that has infinite recyclability. Learn more about HDPE.

The colors of our lumber is not painted on, the light-stable pigments along with UV inhibitors and stabilizers run continuously throughout the material and protect our lumber from harmful environmental degradation. No painting or waterproofing required!

The material is treated with UV Protectant to limit fading and discoloration (Lightfastness meets Grade-4 of US Standard, the vibrant color will remain for years to come).

While we make every effort to portray product colors accurately on our website, please note that electronic media can cause slight variations. The actual product colors may differ slightly from what you see on this website and your specific computer screen.

No. Due to the harsh effects of direct sunlight, we cannot guarantee that the color of materials will remain unchanged over time. However, Serwall lumber is made with UV stabilizers to minimize fading.

To minimize the possibility of fading, we recommend taking the following precautions:

  • Covering the product when necessary.
  • Storing it when not in use.
  • Utilizing a UV-protectant to shield it from direct sunlight.

No painting or waterproofing required because the colors run continuously throughout the material. We do not recommend painting your Serwall furniture as this will void the warranty.

For optimal performance and longevity, all Serwall furniture comes with high-performance marine-grade quality hardware for the assembly and construction. (Although the quality of the hardware has a high level of corrosive resistance, it can show some sign of corrosion in salt air environments.)

All the Serwall chairs are tested to ASTM standards, and they are all rated for commercial use to hold up to 350 pounds each.

Yes, our all-weather poly lumber is built to withstand a range of climates including hot sun, snowy winters, salt spray, and heavy winds. However, covering your furniture will make seasonal cleaning easier while also prolonging the life of your furniture.

Yes, a high-pressure power washer (not to exceed 1,500 psi) can be used to deep clean Serwall furniture. If you don’t have a power washer on hand, Serwall lumber is very low maintenance and easy to clean with soap, water, and a soft bristle brush. Learn more about our Care & Maintenance Tips.

With proper maintenance, Serwall Adirondack chairs can live to their full life expectancy of around 10 years.

It is not necessary since Serwall furniture is made for all-weather environment. But we do recommend you to do so to make seasonal cleaning easier while also prolonging the life of your furniture.

Yes, Serwall furniture is designed to require assembly. It often takes less than 30 minutes to complete and include basic tools with simple instructions. For assembly assistance, check out our Assembly Guide Page.

Each Serwall product family is assembled differently. You will receive a set of intuitive and easy to follow instructions that guide you through the assembly process for your specific furniture piece. It’s advisable that you have someone to assist during assembly.

Absolutely, Serwall furniture can be easily disassembled for easy transportation. We do recommend you take care when disassembling your furniture though, as rough handling may lead to chipping or denting of your Serwall product.

Yes, it is safe to keep your Serwall furniture near a fire pit as long as you exercise caution and avoid direct contact with the fire.

Warranty is our promise to you that we stand behind the quality of our products. At Serwall, we use durable materials and design our products with longevity in mind. If there are any issues, rest assured that all our parts are replaceable, and we can conveniently send you the necessary parts to resolve the situation.

We offer secure payment options with PayPal and Stripe. Simply use your credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) to make a purchase.

Nope! You do not need a Paypal account to purchase at Serwall. We use Paypal and Stripe as our secure payment gateway, as the customer, all you need is your credit card to make a purchase. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. (If you already have a Paypal account, then that works too of course!)

Yes, of course! Ordering on our site is safe and 100% guaranteed. Paypal and Strip are industry leader payment gateway. All transactions go directly through their system where they are securely encrypted and processed on their servers – Root Science never sees or has access to your private financial information.

We process orders very quickly to get your furniture to you as soon as possible. Please note, we cannot make changes after we have sent a shipping confirmation email with tracking. That being said, if you have already placed an order and would like to:

  • Cancel the order
  • Add or remove items
  • Change the shipping address
  • Delay a shipment

Please contact us within 3 hour of placing your order. For reference, please include your order number in your message. Cancellations and order modifications are not guaranteed and can only be made during business hours (Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm PT).

For large item like furniture, we tend to ship separately out of transport safety if a order contains more than one item. Normally, packages will be delivered together since we usually ship them at the same time. If the items are not all available, our online sales representative will contact you and you will have the option to be delivered as they become available.

Orders will be processed and shipped in 1 to 3 business days. You will receive an email with tracking info when your order is shipped.

The delivery time varies depending on the item(s) ordered and your location. We always aim to deliver within 2 weeks from the date of your order.

To track your order, you will receive an email with our delivery service tracking details of your order. You can also find your order details at your account page.

Prices are subject to change — including temporary reductions as well as permanent increases. The prices of items in your cart represent the current price for which you will be charged.

Just submit a request for missing parts. You will need your original order number, product name and the item number of the piece that needs replacement hardware (you can find it on the instruction sheet).

Shipping FAQs

Yes, our products come with free shipping. You can enjoy the convenience of having your items delivered to your doorstep without incurring any additional shipping charges.

No, sorry. We currently can only ship items to addresses in Mainland U.S.

As required by law, sales tax is determined by the state in which your order is being shipped. If applicable, sales tax will be added to your order total at checkout.

There is no minimum order to qualify for free shipping. However, some exceptions apply.

Serwall is dedicated to providing good customer support. If you wish to return an item(s), please check our full Return Policy and then submit your return request by filling out a brief form.

We’re confident you will like your furniture but just in case, we have a Return for Any Reason policy. If you are unhappy, simply submit a return request. Under this reason, the item should be returned in new and resellable condition, learn more about our Return Policy.

Serwall provides its customers with a 30 day period for returns.

We value your satisfaction at serwalloutdoor.com. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. All you need to do is contact us within 30 days of delivery, and we will handle the rest.

You can return your item(s) within 30 days of the delivery date. If the product(s) is not damaged or faulty, and you simply decided that you do not want it anymore, you will receive a refund, less the associated shipping costs. Shipping costs will vary according to the item(s) and your location.

In the unexpected event of receiving a faulty product(s) or you have a warranty claim, please submit a warranty request or contact us by email at [email protected]. Photos may be requested to support the assessment of your claim. If the warranty claim is accepted, we will arrange a replacement, a store credit or a refund for the item(s), and cover all associated freight costs.

In order to issue a credit note, original packaging is required in instances where you have changed your mind or would like to exchange for a different item(s), size or color. Please note that the item(s) must be unused and returned within 30 days of delivery.

If the item(s) is faulty, but the customer is no longer in possession of the original packaging the return claim can still be submitted. Where the original packaging is either damaged or no longer suitable to protect the product once shipped, you must arrange by whatever means to have the product(s) safety and securely wrapped before returning to us.
