Impossible to assemble because of the weight. I contacted customer service and they suggested having a friend or family member help. If I had a friend or family member to help, I would not be in the predicament I am. The instructions say 15 minutes assembly time. This is for a very strong person who has assembled the chair many times.

We put this Adirondack chair on our back porch and have already used it a ton. The screw holes were all nicely aligned so assembly was pretty easy, though one arm was a little loose at first but tightened up fine. Good for evening relaxing outside.

Assembly was pretty smooth, but I did have to tighten a couple of screws on the side. The grey finish looks good and seems easy to keep clean. Perfect for sitting outside on the porch with a book.
