Assembly was a chore because some of the side pieces wouldn’t sit flush with the seat frame, leaving tiny gaps you can see near the bolts. The chairs feel reasonably solid once tightened, but one backrest slat already feels loose and the whole set rocks slightly on our flat wooden floor.

We use these armchairs on the back porch for family dinners. The dark finish looks clean and the horizontal slats on the seats and backs feel comfortable even without cushions. Only minor issue was a couple screws needing a little extra push to sit flush with the side rails, but overall the build quality and stability seem excellent.
